This theatre was opened in the summer of 1995. It was named after the well-known San Roque-born actor Juan Luis Galiardo on 10th February 2001. It has a capacity for 670 people, 474 stall seats and 196 amphitheatre seats. At present it is also where FICSAN, the San Roque International Short Film Festival headquarters, a prestigious contest which has been held since 1979.
