Thanks to its privileged climate and weather conditions, as we have mentioned before, San Roque has become the favourite tourist destination for both sport enthusiasts and also as a location to organise sport events of the highest level.

The diversity of landscapes allows us to enjoy the coastline and mountains at the same time. Due to the amount of sunny days our municipality has to offer, it is the perfect place to do nautical sports.

You can encounter an endless list of options to enjoy the sea in the borough of San Roque. All the emotions and possibilities that nautical sports on offer at Sotogrande Marina, a reference as far as these kind of facilities are concerned in Andalusia. In addition, select and exclusive services are offered to yachts. There is also a direct collaboration with Sotogrande Royal Yacht Club when it comes to organising all kinds of events and the sailing school.

The enthusiasm for nautical sports in the municipality, highlighting that sailing started as the same time as the Sotogrande Residential Area was founded. Proof of this is that the Sailing Championship of Spain was held here in 1980. This enthusiasm has continued every single year when a regatta is held in our borough.

Nautical activities encompass far more than just luxury yachts, from kayaking routes along the coast, diving or fishing to sailing on a yacht or a speed boat.
